Life's Lessons...

Trust no one. Vaule what you have.
Ask for nothing, fight for everything.
Love conquers all evil.

See with your heart, look at people for what's on the inside.
Respect those who deserve respect, not the ones who demand it.

Real friends are rare... few and far in between.

Always speak the truth because lies will never get you anywhere.

Speak from your soul.
Open up to the ones closest to you, because they will be the ones who share in those same experiences.

True love is magnificent, fanststic, amazing, wonderful, incredible.
Our love is never-ending and ever-lasting.

Is it L.E.G.I.T.?

So I just got a phone call from a company called NILICO (National Income Life Insurance Company).

The first thought that came to me was that they were a scam...just like the other company Universal Inc. The lady is talking to me and giving me directions and shit, and I'm just sitting there like "why am I wasting my time listening to you?!" I checked out the Better Business Bureau and they got a satisfactory. So maybe I will check this place out. I think I might be able to go in and take the time to see what they were about. Even though I'm not nearly interested in selling Life Insurance, I wouldn't mind just having a job until I got my life together and planned everything.

My interview is Tuesday, but I'm going with Kyle to a temp agency on Monday so if Tuesday doesn't work out, then I can go ahead with that. Maybe my life isn't all that all over the place as I thought....Now if I could only get that check my job owed me!

A New Life Begins....

Saturday, December 19th 2008, I graduated from SUNY New Paltz.

After 4.5 years of waiting and working my ass off, I was finally paid off for my accomplishments with a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology. Graduation was a great experience, even though it was only 45 minutes and it was a Blizzard that prohibited almost half of the guests from showing up. There were a lot of my friends who said their parents weren't going to be able to show up. It sucks, because for a lot of these people it's their only time graduating, and how can your parents miss that? For one, it would suck even more if your folks came, but couldn't make it to the building before the ceremony was over. That would be completely heartbreaking.

So... what are you going to do now?
I wanna see the world, lol. Honestly, that's what I want to do! Right now, I want to see Italy, Greece, and Australia. I'll go to Italy with my Love Bina. I'll go to Greece with Jesse, and go to Australia with Karl. PLAN!

The Next Chapter of My Life

Graduation is 1 day and 23 hours away.
On December 19th at 8pm I will be an official SUNY New Paltz Alumni.

The purpose for this blog is to write down my experiences during the next couple years (hopefully) of my life. I want to document this time, while allowing my friends to see what's going on with me. I had an old blog at http://weblog.xanga.com/narcboi2_2sexii but I never really kept up with it; but hopefully with this one, I will be able to follow-up more frequently.

So this is the story of my life. Graduating senior from State University of New York at New Paltz. Twenty-one years old. African-American. Male. Married. Brooklyn-born. Gay. Not necessarily in that order, but hey it's me and I have accepted it. My parents love me and I have a handful of WONDERFUL friends.

Take a step into my life, because it's when the lights go out that the true story begins....
